Alan Deer has passed away on Friday the 8th of October. He lost his courageous battle with Leukaemia. Captain of a fantastic motocross family. He passed that love on to his family, Emma in particular. He startted his racing life in 1975 on 2-strokes and later on also on 4-stroke. In 1992 he was the Haynes 4-stroke Junior Champ. Weekend after weekend he spent with his family on the cross fields, also with Twin Shocks. Around 10 years ago he started competing in the Classic Scrambles scene. So he came also in the ECMO world. He was present at nearly all classic crosses in Europe. Also as a team member at the English Nations Team, at the CMCdN's. In 2016 European Champ with the 66+ team in Bally Black (NI). An amiable man with a wide range of interests. We will remember him as a calm, fair rider, faithful to the classic cross. We pass our love and thoughts to Alan's family and friends. May he rest in peace.

(Funeral and celebration of life is on Tuesday 26 October at 12.30 at Taunton Crematorium, Wellington Road Taunton. If you come, the family asks you to wear a motocross shirt. After the funeral you are invited to come to Oake Manor Golf Club, Oake, Taunton, TA4 1BA)
